Totally get why that number sounds wild! The $3.1 trillion figure is often cited from IBM, but other studies estimate the cost of poor data quality to be anywhere from $2 to $5 trillion. Either way, the core issue stands — bad data quietly drains a massive amount of value from businesses.
That is ok then put citied by IBM afterwards then, the liability is on them and your reputation is protected! Good job on the article very smart and well written !
